Mainstay is a ministry with a heart to win the lost. Our goal is to play a form of Christian music that appeals to many young people in our generation. We also want to give Christians who love heavy, brutal music , a Godly form of hard music that will not only edify their spirits, but encourage them to take a stand for Christ as well. We also want the world to know that we as Christians are not whimps, and we are waging a spriitual against Satan. He has tormented our peers long enough. AT WAR WITH SATAN WE CANNOT LOSE, WE ARE CHILDREN OF THE LIVING GOD NO LONGER SUBJECT TO SATAN'S ABUSE. WE ARE CHILDREN OF THE LIVING GOD HOLY ARMOR EQUIPED, SATAN PREPARE YOUR EVIL FLESH FOR MY TRASHING WHIP!

Robert Giles - demon crushing, skull peircing, screams and growls of utter insanity. Matt Ridaught - Lead guitar of constant chaos. Clint Hutchinson - Rhythm guitar of sonic brutality. Ryan Keller - Double bass phsyco drummer. Ernie Lindsey - Bassist of complete and total berzerkness. Justin Banks - Sound guy of alot of morbid stuff. Mainstay is best described as "Deathmetal." The music is fast at times, slow at times but always really freak'n heavy. The vocals are growling and sometimes shrill screams. I don't think we sound like anyone else because that is what one of our goals is, to make a stlye unlike most bands. Our influences range from Paramaecium, Tourniquet, Mortification, Extol, Living Sacrifice, Focal Point and Embodiment.
